Testimony
In the fall of 2005, DMK Associates, Inc. was experiencing record growth and proceeded with plans to develop its business center in Venice within the I-75 corridor. A property was quickly identified to support our rapidly expanding regional engineering and land surveying operation. Ed Seifried Construction, Inc. (ESC) was identified as an area leader in office space design and construction, and early meetings with them proved very positive. In December 2005, an agreement for design/build services was established, and at the recommendation of ESC, project architects were interviewed. Frank Fraze, AIA, of Frank Fraze Design was selected as the building architect with site design and the surveying services were provided by DMK Associates, Inc. What began as identification of a high performing building construction firm ultimately led to a strong team relationship that would continue through to project completion in the Fall of 2007 and into the future.
Ed Seifried Construction placed the DMK building construction in the hands of an experienced Project Manager in Rick Breeze. Rick, with the help and guidance of Wayne Seifried, moved the project along in an experienced and detailed manner. His attention to detail, and more specifically timing of subcontractor performance, led to a quality project completed ahead of schedule and under projected budgets.
We appreciated the routine meetings for clarification, the quick presentation of alternatives available during construction, and the leading manner in which construction decisions were brought to our attention. Our experience with the Owner and Representatives of Ed Seifried Construction were very positive, and we recommend their personal type of service to any potential building owner requiring an experienced and attentive contractor to meet their own demanding needs.
